One of Chris Burdick’s strongest supporters and fundraisers is pushing to build a family bike area/pump track in the Bedford Park System. The Parks Department has rejected the idea so our town supervisor has recommended other locations. The residents and neighbors near the other location have spoken out against the track. While the recreation and Parks Advisory Committee and Recreation and Parks Department staff support the concept of a Family Bike Area – Pump Track they do not see the fit of this new parking amenity in any of the town of Bedford Parks especially in Katonah. The residents and neighbors near the other location have spoken out strongly against the idea, please see the letter below.
