Error by Bedford Central in Reporting the School Test Data

Given all the attention paid to the dual language program at the Bedford Central School District you think they could at least get the test data correct when reporting to the district.

Only 4 percent of our English as a second language students are proficient in English.  The error showed the district above the average when compared to New York State unfortunately we are markedly below the state when it comes to our English as a second language program – so much for the effectiveness of our dual language program – you can be below average in 2 areas.  Our cost per student is close to the highest in the state and yet our performance is below average in this area.
